Get damaged Windows systems up and running again - with no new installation required!
O&O BlueCon can greatly reduces the time and resources needed for your IT Staff
System crash usually occurs at the worst possible moment, like you have just spent two days entering data or writing a critical report. What do you do when Windows just won't boot up?

System crash does not simply mean "replace the hard drive". After all, most system crashes are caused by software related issues, including software conflict, Damaged files, virus inflection, corrupt Operating System, bad driver, or exceeded fragmentation.

Some system crashes are minor and easy to fix, some are serious that can cost several days of repair work, loss of badly needed data and  productivity.

Most system crash not only involve time consuming repair process, but also the need to recover valuable data files. Maybe the last backup on the crashed PC was done four weeks ago. How do you retrieve data if PC won't even boot up?

This could means several days of stressful work for both the end user and IT staff. If you're lucky, it only ruins your day. More than likely, you're in for several bad days followed by a few stressful weeks. After all, systems rarely crash only once. Rather, they keep crashing until IT staff finally find the cause and fix the problem.

Very few system crashes can be solved quickly, especially if you don't have the right tool. The same problem usually happen again and again. It's common to see weeks or even months pass before the answer is found. By solving a crash immediately after the first occurrence, you can prevent time-consuming and costly repeat crashes.

Sometime it is easier and faster to simply reformat the hard drive and install OS and all application from scratch. But this is not always the case. You want to keep all data files and preserve system and user settings. Reconfiguring the system, and get everything back to normal usually take several hours or even days.

No matter how you look at it, rescue a dead Windows PC is a stressful process. Having the right repair tools for your IT staff can make a big difference between quick recovery and days or weeks of stressful work.

O&O BlueCon 6.0 offers a potential solution - a toolkit of system tools that can be used to get crashed Windows systems up and running without the need to a new OS installation, and the software works even if you can’t get the system started. Simply boot up the dead PC with O&O BlueCon CD, pick the right tool and bring back the dead PC.

The included RescueBox let your IT staff recover lost data without sending the hard drive to expensive data recovery lab for service. This alone can save company a lot of money, and reduces system administrator lot of headache.

A user has forgotten his password, and cannot log on anymore. You as administrator are asked to help. You don't want to reinstall OS and all application again.

A PC from your Accounting Department has crashed, you need to bring back the dead PC, at least you want to retrieve all the data, but the $1500 Data Recovery Service bill will make you look bad.

You have just install a new program or a new driver, and the PC crashed immediately and will not boot up. How can you fix the problem if the PC won't even start?

You want to erase all data on PC permanently before donate PC to charity.

A user has inadvertently deleted a very important folder. He also emptied the Recycle Bin shortly afterwards. Because he needs the data urgently it must be quickly recovered.

You can now turn to O&O BlueCon for help. It will make company IT department look like a hero without calling for outside help.

O&O BlueCon is a collection of repair and data recovery tools that offers your IT staff an extremely effective tools to access and repair all failed Windows-base systems - even those PC that won't boot anymore. It allows you IT staff to access the system even without a password! It is often the last chance to rescue a Windows system and its data, and therefore is a must for any administrator and field service technician.

In addition to getting dead Windows PC restarted, BlueCon offers several tools to help you rescue lost data and change forgotten passwords. Even more usefully, you can boot up a crashed PC with O&O BlueCon CD even if it isn’t installed on the machine. This means you can access systems that won’t recognize the hard disk at all; so long as you can get the CD-ROM to work, you’re in with a fighting chance.

If you’re working on a crashed system, you can use BlueCon's SRPManager utility to work with Windows system restore points. These points give you a way to revert to a previously saved system configuration when the current configuration is causing problems.  Using SRPs, you’ll be able to get the system up and running, then scan for problem drivers or system services and, once they’re identified, restore them to their previous condition. Alternatively, a utility called DeviceManager lets you deactivate the driver or service until you can work out the best solution to the problem. It can also be used to replace problem drivers
and services with a new version.

BlueCon is bursting with features. BLueCon's FileExplorer gives you a way to get the data off the system onto external storage media. This offers the advantage of read-only access, so you know you’re not causing more damage to the system. If you suspect that the problem arises from a system registry setting, you can always use BlueCon’s registry editor to change or correct registry settings. There’s SystemInfo command you can use to view the configuration of win.ini, system.ini, boot.ini, the Autostart entries and the environmental variables.

Re-install Windows is usually the only option when an employee has lost or forgotten the password. You don't have to do that now. BlueCon comes with a tool that lets system administrator delete or change passwords for local user accounts so that users can regain access to their systems. You can even reset a password without knowing the old one – a somewhat scary thought but a useful tool for system administrator.

If your concern is data security, BlueCon has an extended delete feature call SafeErase that lets you permanently erase particular files, folders, partitions, hard disks or the entire system in a much more robust way than that offered by the normal Windows delete options. BlueCon SafeErase's ability to completely and permanently erase selective sensitive data or the whole hard drive is a great utility to prevent security breach, this is especially useful if your company donate or gave away office PC, or assign someone's PC to someone else.

BlueCon comes also with RescueBox which include a set of data recovery utilities. These are UnErase, FormatRecovery, and DiskRecovery. These data recovery utilities let you recover data that has been accidentally erased, or when the disk has been formatted, and when everything else has failed.

UnErase has an Explorer-like file structure that lets you navigate around your deleted files and folders. The status of the files and folders you’re looking at is identified using different icons, so you can identify folders or files that have
been deleted, or folders that are intact but have deleted files within them. If the original filenames or folder names can’t be restored, the files and folders are given automatically generated names by UnErase. You can limit the list of files being displayed by setting a filter to look for files that were created or modified in a particular date range, say, or for particular file types, or for files containing some specific text. When you’ve found the files or folders you’re looking for, un-erasing them is a matter of a single mouse click.

FormatRecovery can be used to look for data on drives that have been accidentally reformatted. You can also search on any storage media, from
USB sticks to memory cards for digital cameras. Drives can be scanned for previous partitions and file systems, so you can still look for deleted data if
partition has been deleted or a volume has been reformatted with a different file system.

DiskRecovery has similar features to FormatRecovery, but can be used even if a new operating system has been installed, when Windows can’t access the hard drive, and when the other utilities fail to recover the files.

Every day your IT staff face with a Windows XP system that refuses to work. O&O BlueCon offers an excellent set of tools for your IT department. It gives you back the sort of control that has been eroded under recent versions of Windows. You won’t always succeed in getting all crashed systems up and running, or retrieve data that’s been deleted in error, but BlueCon gives you the best chance possible. If you fail with BlueCon, you’re unlikely to succeed with anything else.
