All-In-One Network Storage Appliance
Save Time and Money with StoreVault S500

How would you like to increase data storage capacity without interrupt server operation?

How would you like to eliminate the pain of daily backup?

How would you like to increase the frequency of backup without pain?

How would you like to improve system disaster recovery capability?

How would you like to centralize and consolidate multiple storages from multiple location into one network storage?

Are you looking for a storage product that offer high capacity and high performance at a reasonable pricing?

A scalable all-in-one networked storage, StoreVault S500's flexibility, scalability and simplicity ensure that it is ready to adapt to your business when you are ready.

With its scalability, StoreVault S500 can scale up to 6TB of storage space in a 2U rack mountable chassis. It can handle NAS, iSCSI, and SAN, all in the one box.

Consolidation multiple storage devices into one box greatly reduces the amount of time your IT staff spend on managing tasks, jobs, applications, and data growth. Moving all types of data to a single, central, redundant and high-performing storage server could mean less time spent handling repeated storage-related tasks and worrying about backup failures.

StoreVault's simple management interface allows you to allocate storage from a central pool to applications and users. Unlike other storage systems, these allocations can be changed up or down at any time to deliver on-the-fly storage provisioning. Capacity can be simply added to the pool at any time and is instantly available for allocation. As a result, you can avoid spending on unnecessary disk capacity.

NAS device can be used as a fast and reliable backup device for servers and client workstation. End-users really can benefit from the speed of disk as a backup medium and yet have the simplicity-benefit of managing a simple NAS box versus running a complicated backup application.

This administration-less backup does not require IT staff or support beyond that of allowing users to access file “shares” on the appliance (something that NAS appliances make very simple to do). This is a little bit like discovering that the lawn tractor in your garage can also be used to clear snow from your driveway; a well understood device that now solves a very pressing new problem.

StoreVault S500 Datasheet

Data, data everywhere! Here an there. They are not just in the computer room any more. Just a year ago, adding a 146GB hard drive was good enough for several months. This is no longer the case today due to data explosion.

Increasing storage space by adding hard drives to Direct-Attached-Storage (DAS) is quite inconvenience. No matter how you look at it, shouting down a server to install additional hard drives in a DAS Storage setting is simply not economical.  In addition, you will always face with the following challenges:

Storage devices are proliferating, creating multiple points of management that eat up
more and more of your time

Tape backup procedures are complex and there are multiple points of failure

Servers are inefficiently utilized, with some maxed out and others with excess capacity

Planning for growth is complicated, and scaling is difficult and time-consuming

Most organization in the SMBs market will benefit from StoreVault S500

StoreVault S500 is a scalable all-in-one networked storage appliance that is customized for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) at a price point that fits SMB budgets. With its intuitive Windows graphical user interface, the StoreVault S500 can be easy to install and simple to manage, while providing enterprise-class networked storage functionality. The StoreVault S500 has been deployed across a wide range of industries to help solve the growing customer challenges of data growth, data protection, and data management.

In addition to basic storage functionality, you have additional level of protection through RAID-DP, a NetApp technology that provides data protection in the event of two concurrent drive failures. StoreVault Replication enables administrators to replicate data from a StoreVault S500 to one or more ‘destination’ StoreVault S500 units. Data can be replicated over a WAN to a remote location to protect data in the event of a disaster or to distribute data to remote offices. This means you no longer have to transport tape or disk to back up data at each remote location.

Primary benefits

Flexibility to add and allocate storage on the fly with the reliability of RAID-DP™ and a
   global hot spare.

Provides one central location from which to control and manage all storage

One single storage device to manage, replacing various RAID controllers and servers

Integration into a mixed client environment with Client Access License reduction and
   simplified account management.

Disk to disk to tape backups controlled from a central point

Data duplication reduction and eliminated server over-provisioning "just in case"

Software integration that manages multiple data protection technologies in one setting

Makes backup much easier using new native or existing third party tools

Uses Snapshot™ technology to provide instant backups and restores

Maximizes utilization for lower capital and operating costs using FlexVol™ technology

Provides easy scalability with no disruption to operations, so planning becomes simple

Simplify your network, and lower total cost too. Here is how it look like after installed a StoreVault S500.

              diagram

StoreVault S500 handles pretty much anything thrown at it, which makes it attractive for any business that uses different systems such Apple, Linux, and Windows. By building an interface at the application level that everyone understand, StoreVault S500 allows small companies to upgrade their storage without upgrading their staff.
