Why NAS (Network Attached Storage)?
    - Separate storage from application server improves network performance and data access speed.
    - Adding large additional storage to existing network easily and quickly, without shutting down files server.
    - NAS can be served as Backup and Storage Server for fast backup and recovery to reduce downtime.
    - Reduce the amount of time it takes you to manage and allocate disk space.
    - Enable the sharing of storage resources between computer running different operating systems.
    - Give you the freedom to manage your NAS from any place at any time with a standard Web browser.
SonicWALL Continuous Data Protection (CDP) Series are disk-based backup and recovery solution that meets the needs of organizations and remote offices. These disk-base backup and recovery appliances provide real-time, hassle-free, local backup, as well as hands-free offsite protection for servers, laptops and PCs. This reliable backup solution integrates a host of other features onto one centrally managed appliance to make it easier for IT Managers and business owners to protect their organization’s most important asset—their data. And, since SonicWALL CDP only backs up block level differences within each file, the performance of the network is not impacted or compromised.

More than just a fast backup and recovery device, SonicWALL CDP is actually multiple backup systems in one. You can use it for traditional archiving of selected folders and files. Or you can perform complete system backups and is licensed with varying numbers of bare-metal restore licenses for workstations and servers. You can even use it as off-site backup.

Barracuda Backup Service provides you with a full local data backup combined with offsite storage to replicate data to two offsite data centers. It provides the best of both worlds - local backups via a dedicated backup appliance for fast backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery data protection through secure cloud storage at Barracuda Networks.

There is no need to be there just to insert a tape just to run a daily backup. The Barracuda Backup Web interface makes it easy to manage and back up data on the Barracuda Backup Server and to schedule reoccurring offsite data backups in the cloud. The Web user interface provides access and control of settings, reports, restores, statistics and account information in order to manage deployed Barracuda Backup Servers and the Barracuda Backup Subscriptions even across multiple locations.
